The Credentialing Information System (CIS) is a database used by the North Carolina Office of EMS to monitor and provide credentials to EMS personnel, ambulances, and EMS agencies. The CIS is used to track and document EMS personnel educational, credentials, disciplinary actions, and contact information. CIS stores Ambulance permit and inspection information as well as EMS Agency permits. The CIS is integrated with PreMIS and with other state data systems for disaster management needs.
